Somerset – Yeovil Department Store Regeneration

Located in the heart of Yeovil, this project will transform the former Beales department store—a much-loved and nostalgic town-centre landmark—into a vibrant food court and community destination. The scheme will repurpose an underutilised large-format retail unit into an active, welcoming space designed to attract new visitors, increase dwell time, and support wider high street regeneration. By combining food, culture, learning, and community services under one roof, the project will create a year-round destination that benefits residents, businesses, and the local economy.
